The palace park of Schloss Nymphenburg (Nymphenburg Palace) is a masterpiece of Baroque garden art and a perfect setting for romantic strolls. Its magnificent avenues, extensive canal system and hidden pavilions such as the Amalienburg and the Badenburg (castles) make it a highlight for nature lovers and history enthusiasts.

Directions and Parking: 

2 parking spaces in the southern palace roundabout and 4 parking spaces in the northern palace roundabout 

2 parking spaces in front of the Museum “Mensch und Natur” 

Access: 

  • Into the castle 90 cm wide ramps to the left of the main entrance 
  • Elevator to the upper floor of the central building (Gallery of Beauties) 
  • In the palace park, there are mostly asphalt or gravel paths  
  • Amalienburg castle is accessible via a ramp. The ground floor of Pagodenburg castle is accessible via a ramp and 1 high step. Please ask staff for assistance. 
  • Badenburg castle and Magdalenen hermitage is only accessible via several stairs.
