Gynaecological consultations for patients with limited mobility

In October 2021, the pilot project ‘Gynaecological Consultation for Women and Girls with Mobility Impairments’ was launched at the Department of Health.

The initiative stems from a City Council resolution and was developed in collaboration with the Bavarian Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, the Disability Advisory Board, Netzwerkfrauen Bayern and the Coordination Office for the Implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities within the Social Affairs Department, under the leadership of the Health Department.
