Set against the romantic backdrop of the neo-Gothic Town Hall on Marienplatz square, rows of stalls exude historic Bavarian charm that delights all the senses. The market offers a lively display of traditional customs and crafts, as well as what is probably Germany’s largest Kripperlmarkt (Nativity-scene market).
