Low emission zone:
Vehicles require a green environmental badge for the Mittlerer Ring and the roads within it. Diesel vehicles of Euro 4/IV and beyond are not allowed in this zone. Holders of a blue parking permit can drive freely.
Parking in the city centre:
Parking in the city centre is generally challenging. Many car parks in large parts of the city are reserved for residents. Holders of the Blue Parking Card from the following countries may park anywhere. Non-holders should pay attention to the roadside signs.
Park & Ride facilities, car parks, multi-storey car parks, underground car parks:
In some car parks and underground car parks, holders of the Blue Parking Card may park for free or at a reduced rate, for example in the Gasteig cultural centre (currently closed), in the pep and OEZ shopping centres and at the airport. Please inquire at the gate or press the info button on the parking machines.
Disabled parking spaces:
The portal for accessibility is a service platform that bundles various information on the topic of accessibility in order to facilitate route planning. The following information can be found on the portal:
- Disabled parking spaces: around 550 locations with over 900 disabled parking spaces
- Public toilets
- Construction site map
- Tyre inflation stations for pushchairs, wheelchairs and bicycles
- Electric car hire for people with limited mobility
- Local public transport stops
