Munich’s “Franz Josef Strauss” Airport was one of the busiest in Europe in 2019. Since its opening in the early 1990s, it has steadily expanded – today, guests can enjoy around 60 restaurants and cafés, along with 150 shops across two terminals. We have put together useful information for your arrival and helpful tips for your visit.

- Lufthansa Express Bus: Does not have a lifting platform
- All car parks feature designated spaces for people with disabilities.
- Wheelchair users can operate all pay machines.
- One pay machine of each group is designated for hearing impaired guests.
Access:
The airport offers floor level & step-free access.
Barrier-free paths and elevators take passengers to the departure areas in Terminals 1 and 2 and facilitate independent movement between the levels.

Website: Barrier-free WC (accessible from the front, right and left) in all terminalsShower and barrier-free WC with recliner and lifter: located between Munich Airport Centre and Terminal 1, Module B. The key is available in the Service Centre in Terminal 1 upon a deposit payment.
